Summary/Abstract: In recent years, cloud technologies are more and more widely used for public health purposes. Their application in the elaboration of patient’s electronic medical records and its access gains a greater popularity in therapeutic institutions’ practice. A scientometric study of the dynamics of the international scientific informatics on these problems was carried out by means of an analysis of the publications abstracted in Web of Science Core Collection (WoS) and Scopus databases during the period between 1999 and 2018 incl. The leading countries, authors and journals during this period were outlined. The results demonstrated a permanent interest of the world scientific community in these socially significant problems directed towards the further optimization of public health systems. A considerable increase of the number of publications and discussions during the recent years on this topic was established. From the present analysis and literature used, the managers of the therapeutic institutions can obtain information about the usage of the cloud technologies in the field of electronic health record while the scientists and leaders defining the science policy in our county can enhance the effectiveness of their research activity and the international visibility of their achievements.
