Summary/Abstract: The author discusses the current aspects of education where we can see several dichotomic views. In this sense, he suggests that the present pedagogical creation offers many excellent publications on education, but their transfer to real educational practice is very slow. The same applies to the fact that education has basically for a century recommended a variety of innovations, however we still do not feel their significant impact on education. The author is strongly highlighting some aspects of ICT use in education - it offers a lot of information to the pupils. The author asks if it also develops their thinking, creativity…. In this sense, he outlines the basics for the didactic and educational work of the school.
