Summary/Abstract: EU is committed to proper investigate crime of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, as our continent must remain a safe space for all European citizens, and to provide justice when such crimes occur in the member states or abroad. Therefore, European Network of contact points in respect of persons responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes was created in 2002 and in 2014 the Strategy of the Network was adopted in order to strengthen the judicial cooperation between member states to combat impunity for the crime of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes within the European Union and its member states.
