Summary/Abstract: The present work intends to analyze the influence of Leopardi’s Canti and of the European parnassianism in poems by Duiliu Zamfirescu. In the first part of the work, we will focus on the nature of Zamfirescu’s interest towards the classicism and its relations with the Italian poetry; in the second part, we will propose an analysis of the classical elements in his poems.
