Summary/Abstract: The last decades can be described as a constant reform of one or another aspect of higher education. This reform is a process that changes the nature of the entire educational process, including the process of developing mathematical disciplines. The ongoing restructuring of the educational process in higher education is related to its modernisation and the usage of innovative educational technologies in the process of training. The subject of this study is the usage of modern educational technologies for teaching of mathematical disciplines. The focus of this paper is on the possible methods of learning new material. There are a number of methods used in the educational process in universities in addition to the traditional forms of lectures and practical classes, such as debate, case studies, business games, round tables, brain storming and other techniques
