Project-Based Learning in Information Technology in Seventh Grade

Summary/Abstract: The idea of a modern European education is developed in the report of the International Commission on Education for the 21st Century „Education, the hidden treasure”. In order to achieve this idea, it is necessary to search for and apply new methods, tools and approaches enabling interactive learning. This paper describes the creation and implementation of an innovation, the formation of a project-based learning model using IT. The aim is through it to activate the involvement of students in a targeted social educational activity, to increase the information competencies of students and to monitor the level of motivation for studying the subject of Information Technology in grade 7.
