Summary/Abstract: In the search for an answer to the main question „what works in social rehabilitation”,the attention of theoreticians and practitioners is directed to the evidence-basedpractice. Among numerous proposals and research data there is also Solution-Focused BriefTherapy, the modality which has its roots in family systems theory, social constructionismand M. Erickson’s utilization approach. The main purpose of this article is to show generalassumptions of SFBT and its potential in social rehabilitation process. The data presented inthe article are promising and inspires researchers to further analyses in order to make Polishsocial rehabilitation practice more evidence-based.
