In June 2019, an interview was conducted with the municipal authorities and peopleresponsible for obtaining EU funds. As a result of the analysis of the collected material, it was foundthat EU funds had a large share in the financing of projects carried out in the gmina (64.3%). Thesurveyed inhabitants mostly noticed the changes that took place over 15 years in the Brześć Kujawskigmina due to the use of EU funds. The research stated that the operating costs of completed investmentsdid not overburden the gmina budget. Most of the respondents assessed the changes resulting from thedevelopment of the gmina, thanks to EU funding.
