Summary/Abstract: Professor PhD Pompiliu Manea was a charismatic Romanian, without frontiers-,who defended the Romanian dignity. He was very demanding and resolute when Romanian interests were involved, advocating the assertion of the existence and identity of every nation within the limits of the historical truth and the rules of democracy. The work shows his points of view concerning the questions of journalist Cristian Colceriu related to „what kind of elite do we have and for whom? Do we have a counterfeit elite which despises the entire set of human values? Do you think that people are still interested in models of success, of elite? How would you rate the human „quality” of the individuals who propel the upper spectrum of society?” Professor Pompiliu Manea’s answer was profound, sincere and corresponded to the reality in which we find ourselves.
