Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the study of inter-Slavic cultural contacts in the field of a liturgical music practice of the Greek Catholic Church of Galicia in the first half of the 19th century. The focus of this research is liturgical music of the Czech composers A. Nanke and W. Zrzavy in connection with the reforms carried out by the bishops M. Levitsky and I. Snihurskyi in Przemysl, the center of spiritual awakening of the religious identity of Galician Greek Catholics. The liturgical music of the Czech composers, inspired by the creative genius of D. Bortniansky, is regarded as a significant factor in shaping the tradition of Greek Catholic worship.
