Summary/Abstract: In the article the author considered the types of word-formative synonyms in the sphere of Russian adjectives. The following types of word-formative synonyms were differentiated: suffixal synonyms, prefixal synonyms, prefixal-suffixal synonyms, suffixoidal synonyms, suffixal-suffixoidal synonyms and tautological synonyms.
