Summary/Abstract: The current study analyzes the legal framework established by Regulation (EU) No 2016/1191. Attention is paid to the provisions through which: documents included in the scope of the act are exempt from legalization; formal procedures relating to translations of official documents are simplified; multilingual standard forms are created, which are attached to official documents included in the scope of the Regulation and are used to facilitate translation; effective and reliable administrative cooperation is introduced, which is based on the Internal Market Information System.
