ON TEACHING RUSSIAN INTONATION IN POLISH UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES

Summary/Abstract: In this article the author justifies the need as well as the possibility of mastering Rus­sian intonation at the departments of Russian in Poland on the basis of some vocalic accented sounds of the Russian language and claims that teaching and learning of intonemes of this language should take place before intonation has been acquired.
