Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to assess the diversity of road infrastructure in Polish voivodships in 2012. Two sets of indicators were adopted to evaluate the differences. Two sets of indicators gave slightly different results. The first group of indicators was related to roads per 100 km2. The second group of indicators was related to the road, but per 10 thousand of population. It is, therefore, hypothesized that for an analysis of road infrastructure in the regional breakdown the better solution is to adopt test indicators converted to 100 km2. The analysis was performed by using one of the oldest and most universal taxonomic methods developed by Jan Czekanowski. The data for the research was taken from the website of the Central Statistical Office.
