Summary/Abstract: RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: An attempt to demonstrate the change accomplished in the second part of the second millennium B.C., when on the place of former dominant concepts in the political thought of the Middle East came the theonomic conception which was presented in the Old Testament texts. THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: Static conceptualization which assuming existence of immutable cosmic order, eventually reflected in political order with human power is confronting with later conceptualization which take into consideration the only one God’s existence, who by His own will evaluates the order. An analysis of the very old texts, considerate in the context of the cultural transformations is the main method which is practise in an argument. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: An author goes from presentation former conceptualizations towards analysis of later ones, altering and considering more and more typical elements for theonomic project as well as shows many problems in the history of Israel and Judah since Exodus till establishing typical for Old-Testament tradition „moderate theocratic” project. RESEARCH RESULTS: Presentation the essence of abandoning the static conceptualization towards dynamic conceptualization performing in a longer time and taking into account the role of personal God who creating the order, especially normative one (manifested law of God). CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS: One must considering in the next investigations the change which was presented in an article (in the context of more important books on the history of Hebrew political thought as well as books on the history of God’s law conceptions).
