Creative perspective of education at general music schools as a presently existent idea

Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the issue of the professionals-to-be education at general music schools in which the education is mainly directed at playing music (following the music notes) and what is underlined is the music performance. A creative excerpt happens very seldom and considers only the reproduction of a composer’s intention comprised in the music notes under the teacher’s supervision, thus it is of (re)interpretation character. Therefore, the core curricula at music schools should be modified for the benefit of the development of the students’ readiness to undertake some creative and improvisational challenges since developing the music audiation what evolves is the dialogue, interrogation and motivation, which allows for the student’s more complete devotion to music comprehension and the ability to appreciate it in the adult life.
