Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to try to determine the expectations of young people towards the work and also towards the employer, the fulfilment of which may prevent employees from leaving the organization. The analysis based on the conductedresearch may contribute to deepening the discussion on the resignation of employeesfrom employment in the future. In the theoretical part, based on the analysis of thesubject literature, the main reasons for leaving a job were determined, as well as themost important symptoms which may indicate a desire of quitting the organizationby the employee were described. In addition, the consequences for the organizationof leaving the employee were discussed. The next part presents the results of ownresearch, and the considerations based on them focused on disincentives to work andinfluencing the decision to leave the organization by employees. For the purpose ofconsideration, the following hypothesis was established: the most important factordetermining the employee’s departure from the organization is remuneration.At the same time, actions were proposed that should be implemented by employers in the organization management policy to reduce the number of employees whowant to quit their jobs. Among the most important of them, there were: respect foremployees and their work, adequate remuneration and social package, ensuring ambitious tasks and enabling personal development, reducing monotony and routine,care for good relations and atmosphere, ensuring appropriate working conditionsand working time. and proper communication.
