Summary/Abstract: A two-day event titled “Nina Danino: I Die Of Sadness Crying For You” took place at the University of London’s Birkbeck Moving Image Institute (BIMI). The first day of the event started with a screening of Nina Danino’s film and followed by a short interview. On the second day, presentations moderated by BIMI Director Professor Catherine Grant were about on copla and the feelings of pain, sorrow, and sadness in its melodies were discussed in the context of gender.
