V. S. Memetov: meetings and collaborations

Summary/Abstract: The article gives memoirs of meetings and collaborations with the doctor of historical sciences, professor of Ivanovo State University V. S. Memetov, who gave great support to the author of the article during the preparation and defense of the doctoral dissertation on the history of the Belarusian intelligentsia, about which there was no research in historical science in general. Then for almost a quarter of century cooperation with Valery Sergeyevich developed on various aspects of scientific and simple human activity, which was important in the difficult conditions of changes in the social environment in Russia in the 1990—2019. I deeply regret that Valery Sergeyevich went into oblivion relatively early, regardless of age, as he had many plans for our cooperation with him. A bright memory for him!
