Science, technology and military art in the firs half of the 20th century

Summary/Abstract: Since the end of the World Wars (I and II), the humanity continued to study these wars from many points of view. In this paper we present a short history of science, technology and military art in the first half of the 20th century. The science and the technology of those years have left their footprint upon the production of new weapons, new categories of armed forces, and the changes produced in the tactical and strategical use of different troops. The Industrial (Technical) and Scientific Revolution had transformed warfare in nearly 50 Years (1900–1950). The purpose of this paper is to highlight the improvement/progress of the military science and technology and the impact that these produced on the military art during the World Wars I and II.”
