Summary/Abstract: The author raises the issue of a dissertation by Małgorzata Trębska devoted to Old-Polish wedding orations. The work by Trębska was recognised for its dealing with the subject that has not been discussed, the basis of which was a big source text. The author admires the results of interpretative findings which question a widely-held negative opinion among the researchers on the Sarmatian art of a Hymeneus articulation. She notices that a book should contain a variety of wedding orations in the form of appendices, and reprimands the editorial board for not having prepared the book for publication well.
