Summary/Abstract: In the second half of the 19th century, industrial production and related trade began to increase significantly in our country. With the development of the market, the issue of competition between individual entrepreneurs became more and more topical, and the possibility of unfair competition from employees began to appear. The employer's effort to limit the employee's activities, which he could compete with, then found its reflection in the legislation.
