Summary/Abstract: The interest of terrorist groups or organizations involved in organized crime in the procurement, marketing and use of unconventional weapons of nuclear, biological or chemical origin have also drawn the attention and concern of the whole world to the danger that they represent. Furthermore, during recent history, there have been cases when interest in the procurement, marketing and use of unconventional weapons of nuclear, biological, chemical origin or products or dual-use plants has reached the level of state policy and has resulted in repeated attempts to obtain or manufacture such weapons of mass destruction in flagrant violation of international legal framework governing activities in the field.
