Summary/Abstract: The article examines the legal status of the most typical subjects of private international law of the Republic of Moldova — individuals; rules of conflict of law and substantial norms, theoretical and practical aspects of relations with the participation of these persons and problems that may arise, as well as ways of their solution, are also analyzed. The changes to the Civil Code that entered into force in the spring of 2019 are taken into account.
