Upbringing in a Family as a Research Problem in Ukrainian Pedagogic

Summary/Abstract: The family was pointed out by Ukrainian educators and pedagogical thinkers as the most important factor in shaping the national consciousness among the children and youth, being called by some pedagogues the greatest educator and the sacred chapel of human spirit. In their opinion it became obvious to the Ukrainians, as the nation without its own state, that the family had to take responsibility for the upbringing and educating the children and youth in their national identity. Family preserved and passed on to their children national and cultural values : national dignity and pride, respectfulness, state building desire, historical memory and so on.
