Summary/Abstract: The family always is pointed out by Ukrainian educators and pedagogical thinkers as the most important factor in shaping the national consciousness among all generations of children and youth. Ukrainian family is being called the great educator and the sacred chapel of human spirit. Family preserved and passed on to their children national and cultural values: national dignity, respectfulness, state building desires, and historical memory.
