Summary/Abstract: The specificity of family business owners forces strategic thinking, also in the context of the future run their business. Succession of the linked inseparably associated with the transfer of responsibilities and authority successors . Empowerment seems to be a natural phenomenon, aimed eventually to transfer the company. This raises strong emotions and fears both the transferors rights and family members that these powers are transferred. The aim of the article is to analyze the potential barriers and concerns of both parties, and a strong family engaged in the family business.
