Summary/Abstract: Functions and tasks assigned to logistics 4.0 combine the necessity of substantive knowledge, digital competencies and security. Turbulent changeable environment means that the multiplicity and diversity of logistic processes binding entities in the supply chains structures is closely related to security. Digitization, computerization and technologization result in the necessity of reconfiguring logistic processes. Nowadays, the activities of supply, production and sales are integrally associated with the transfer of information. The experience of many companies co-creating integrated supply chains points to the fact that the use of innovative technologies, adapted infrastructure and communication solutions result in the necessity of a security construct. Not allowing leakage of information, stopping the process flow and failure-free operation are just some of the areas of these activities. The concern about the correctness of processes in logistics 4.0 means the priority approach in the field of information transfer security.
