Summary/Abstract: The ability of adjustment of enterprises to the changing conditions in environment is one of the pivotal factors, deciding about the success on a market. The turbulent changes in environment need the correct recognition of the character of those changes and their structure and direction. The main problems are to chose the methods of marketing researches of success factors to recognize different aspects in a comprehensive way. The aim of the article is to define the success factors and identify the threats and opportunities in SMMEs. In the article, the effects of researches in Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Mazowieckie voivodeships are presented. The separate researches were conducted in SMMEs by direct interviews and via Internet with participation of students from 2nd year of study.
