Summary/Abstract: The paper first deals with general questions of translation as a specific form of human activity, and then continues to tackle the characteristics of specialized terminology and translation. Thereupon it discusses problems of translating specialized texts in minority relations. Given the fact that the vast majority of translated texts in Vojvodina are translations of legal texts, the paper focuses on the peculiarities of minority Hungarian legal terminology priar to presenting the language usage rights in Serbia.
