Summary/Abstract: The aim of the inquiry research presented in this publication is to diagnose types of innovation and radical techniques used in innovation management. The study hypothesized a relatively low level (3 points or less in a 5-point Likert scale) use of these types of techniques in managing innovation in health tourism. The study was conducted from November 2015 to March 2016. The study involved 460 providers of health tourism. To achieve the objective method standardized interview was used. It was diagnosed 19 techniques in the course of research - 3 dominant techniques, 8 support techniques and 8 complementary techniques. The results can provide guidance to management practitioners. Among others - what kind of innovative tools can be used? And which of the management techniques are the most common in the group of entities. It should be emphasized the innovative nature of the research, which was not previously the subject of systematic investigation.
