Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present current achievements in the field of communication and information transfer, as well as the new forms of exchanging data between the entities which will constitute the information society ecosystem. The article’s thesis states that the introduction of the new forms of communication resulting from the implementation of the 5G network will lead to the development of new information technologies engaging new actors into communication, i.e. the members of the information society.
