Summary/Abstract: This text deals with the relations between Republika Srpska and the US and EU. The author begins with a recent statement made by Gordon Bardos that the US has lost interest in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina and that US troops should be withdrawn. The author disputes this statement through an analysis of American foreign policy interests and proves that it is groundless. The author goes on to point to possible conflicts between the US and EU about political control over Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska and analyzes the role of Turkey, as a regional participant in this game of power. The author points to the fact that Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina are still part of American strategy in foreign policy, since they can be used to gain control over European affairs and interests in Western Balkans, and gives five possible explanations why this can be so.
