Summary/Abstract: A significant number of performance measurement and management frameworks have been developed recently. In due course of literature review significant differences between these frameworks have been identified, as well as industry specific factors for national healthcare providers. Next, based on these findings the performance measurement and management framework for Polish health care providers has been developed. That framework comprises four dimensions: productivity, sustainability, liquidity and development/flexibility. Each of the dimensions have relevant indicators attached. Due to the simplified structure of developed framework, the model should be practical and could be potentially used at Polish small and medium size healthcare providers.
