Salary as a Financial Motivator for Police Officers

Summary/Abstract: The article describes the most important theories of motivation from the point ofview of publication. An analysis of the specific nature of remuneration and its components in the Police and its incentive function was made. The aim of the article is to critically analyze the salary as a motivational tool used in the organization under study. The material for publication was collected using the qualitative method in the form of analysis of the content of the subject literature and legal acts. The technique used, the analysis of secondary data, constituted anin-depth inference of the literature material from the subject matter discussed. An analysis ofthe case study of the discussed phenomenon in the Police was also used.
