Summary/Abstract: The article discusses problems of hiring Ukrainian workers and the usage of nonstandard employment forms in small enterprises in Poland. Non standard forms of employment are heavily prevalent in Polish economy, and Ukrainian are the biggest group of foreign workers in Poland.The conducted theoretical and empirical research show that both of the analysed phenomena are nowadays connected with the problem of insufficient staff rather than with the need of lower employment costs. The empirical studies conducted using the case study method in the small enterprise. In this case the specific problems have appeared: communication barriers,problem of shaping engagement and problem with ethical standards of the employment leasing company.
