Summary/Abstract: The article presents the requirements of the BRC Packaging system with the Lean Manufacturing methodology to detect factors contributing to wastage in production processes. The article describes selected short comings of the BRC Packaging system and compares them with classic waste of the Lean Manufacturing concept. An in-depth analysis of the problem allows for better understanding the reasons of wastage in enterprises. Theconcept of Muda has been presented in a form that enables practical application in the quality management system of BRC Packaging. The conclusions allow enterprises havingan integrated quality management system to detect and eliminate wastage factors during production processes
