Summary/Abstract: Painting in the 18th century Venice reached s peak of its European fame and influence. Its international esteem is testified as well by the numerous presences of Venetian paintings in the Franciscan Province Bosnia Argentina, particularly striking if we take into consideration that the territory of the Province was in the middle of the century again reduced and that it was entirely under the Ottoman rule. In this contribution are taken into consideration two paintings from Guča Gora and Sarajevo: after the iconographical and stylistic analysis, the attribution to Venetian painter Francesco Zugno (?) for the painting Vision of St Benedict of Nurcia from Guča Gora is proposed, and for the painting Girl with the black cap from Sarajevo the model in an analogue invention of the rococo painter with international career, but originally from Verona, Pietro Antonio Rotari, is indicated.
