Summary/Abstract: Nowadays the family becomes a small social group, which are increasingly important mutual relations between its members. We are talking about partnership and equality of spouses who together commit themselves to raising a child. They have to meet the increasing demands as to how to fill the parental role. The child is no longer a passive contractor parental commands, but an active participant in the process of education. It is an individual entity, whose parents should create favorable conditions for the development and implementation needs and give him the right to choose from the many possibilities. In this situation, is not enough to reproduce old patterns of behavior. Parent must move beyond, look carefully at your child and suggest a solution tailored to their specific needs. The article analyzes the new trends in building parent–child relationship. Shown in which direction the education in the contemporary family. As parents try to meet the expectations of society, which require respect for the identity and autonomy of the child? What focus their actions? To describe this issue served as a theory of transactional analysis, through which it is shown how parents organize time in relation to the child.
