SAINT SAVA IN TOPONYMS AND LEGENDS IN THE STUDENICA BASIN

Summary/Abstract: In the paper, toponyms are given on the territory of the Studenica basin in the original autochthonous speech which for the motivational base have the personal name of the Saint Sava or are indirectly related to it (Сáвина вода, Савошница, Савовица, Каца Светог Сáве, Ђаково, Живичка). Much less are those who have to do with certain activities of his father Stefan Nemanja, Ana’s mother and brothers Stefan and Vukan (Крáљи,Госпођин поток, Пореч). Looking at the fotmation of words, tuose are : (1) not derived words (Крáљи), (2) derived words (Савошница), (3) complex words with a prefix (Пореч) or complex words with prefix and suffix (Придворица), (4) complex words of two words (Полумер) and (5) syntagms (Ђаковачко гробље, Светосавска вода, Каца Светог Сáве, Горња испосница Светог Сáве).
