Summary/Abstract: The article describes in detail social pathologies in the Armed Forces. The author focused her attention on the most common social pathologies, which are found in the Polish Armed Forces, for examples such phenomena as alcoholism, drug addiction and HIV / AIDS, violence and aggression, bullying, suicide, corruption, the so-called subculture soldier „Wave”. The issues raised in the article seems to have great importance and are actual, especially in times of such fastly changing reality. It also improve on soldiers of the Armed Forces. The occurrence of social pathologies in the Polish Army can be very destructive for the army, particularly in terms of the functioning and effectiveness. It should be emphasized that the Polish Army does not operate in a vacuum, hence the importance of cooperation in the prevention and tackling these phenomena.
