Summary/Abstract: The self-empowerment programme, which is statutorily implied and run in a juvenile’s natural environment after their leaving a detention institution, encompasses social integration of the adult person with the local community. The main goal of the process is to rebuild the skill of citizen participation in social life and to fulfil basic social roles in a responsible way with all the potential they have. The process is accompanied by some barriers in family, work, and environment space as well as in social aid. All the barriers impede the process of self-empowerment and frequently ruin their chance of life stabilization they were trying to get for many years.
