Summary/Abstract: Along with the institution of the President and the Government, the Parliament is, in any democratic society, the politic institution with a major role in its structure and functioning. This institution is the political creation of the bourgeoisie, of the application in practice of the principles of power separation of the representativeness promoted by this class. Appeared since the modern period, over time, this institution has experienced numerous transformations both in terms of its formation, structure, functioning and role and place in society and relations with the other institutions of the State.
