Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the media coverage of the beating of a Bulgarian soldier by two young Roma in village of Voivodinovo, near Plovdiv, on January 6, 2019, followed by the protests of ethnic Bulgarians, the fled of Roma from the village and the destruction of a part of illegal Roma dwellings. The paper deals with the problems of objective media coverage of minorities, avoiding collective responsibility and collective blame and the difficulties related to Roma integration.7
