Summary/Abstract: In European Nihilism Martin Heidegger comments on Nietzsche’s psychology as Dionysian Machtigkeit. This paper follows the drying up of the musical element in The Antichrist and the dissolution of principium individuationis in the Dionysian – as anticipated in Nietzsche’s early thought and manifested in his later writings – immediately before the disintegration of the personality. However, the spirit of music yields the book of knowledge (Thus Spake Zarathustra) in which the philosophical narrative is enlivened by the Theologenblut (theological blood) of the Bible’s proverbial language. The will to power exerts a healing and helping influence on each evolving or withering life (Nietzsche).
