Summary/Abstract: Deputies to the European Parliament are excluded from prohibitions related to conducting business activity which apply to Deputies and Senators, i.a., prohibitions established in Article 34 of the Act of 9 May 1996 on Exercising the Mandate of a Deputy or Senator. Hence, there are no impediments for a Deputy to the European Parliament to remain a member of the supervisory board of an entrepreneur such as an association of mutual insurance, e.g. Association of Mutual Insurance TUW.
