Summary/Abstract: Both terms are very broad, and the decision on whether particular information may be classified as a trade secret, requires individual examination. Deputies may be given access to information constituting a trade secret, if they are, for example, members of the investigative committee, but only to the extent determined by the scope of examination of the case by that committee, or upon consent of the entrepreneur in relation to whom the secret must be kept. In other cases, Article 19 of the Act on the Exercise of the Mandate of a Deputy or Senator does not give the right of access to information constituting trade secrets. Additionally, such a right cannot be exercised in the course of submitting Deputies interpellations.
