Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to address an important issue today, namely environmental protection and establish to what extent we can develop without too significant an impact on the resources at hand. The topic sparked nationwide controversy as well as enough international concerns. Humanity cannot survive without genuine care towards natural resources. The paper aims to present issues related to the consumption levels of society and to what extent there are policies for environmental protection.
