Summary/Abstract: Contemporary society is, unfortunately, characterized by a permanent state of conflict. We are talking about religious, cultural, political, and legal conflicts and the most serious form is the open conflict. This paper aims to define the general concepts, identify and present possible causes and solutions. If at institutional level one can identify a number of authorities that have attributions to solve potential conflicts, at individual level things are much more complex
