Awareness of the Health Effects of Using the Internet According to the Generation of the Network

Summary/Abstract: Współcześnie internet zaraz po rodzinie i szkole stał się jednym z najważniejszych środowisk edukacyjnych i wychowawczych, ale także bardzo popularnym narzędziem komunikacyjnym. Młodzi ludzie spędzają z telefonem w ręku lub przed ekranem komputera wiele godzin dziennie. Coraz częściej wśród negatywnych skutków nadużywania mediów wymienia się skutki zdrowotne. Dlatego podstawowym celem niniejszego artykułu było poznanie świadomości młodzieży dotyczącej ich dolegliwości zdrowotnych, jakie pomimo młodego wieku odczuwają po dłuższym korzystaniu z mediów. Badania przeprowadzono w 2018 r. wśród 250 uczniów uczęszczających do szkół średnich w województwach podkarpackim i małopolskim. Narzędziem zastosowanym w badaniach był kwestionariusz ankiety „Moja aktywność w Internecie” autorstwa Styśko-Kunkowskiej i Wąsowicz.Nowadays, the internet, after family and school, have become one of the most important educational and educational environments, but also a very popular communication tool. Young people spend many hours a day with their phone in their hands or in front of a computer screen. Health effects are increasingly mentioned among the negative effects of media abuse. Therefore, the primary objective of this article was to learn about the awareness of young people about their health problems, which despite their young age they feel after prolonged use of the media. The research was conducted in 2018 among 250 students attending secondary schools in Podkarpackie and Małopolskie Voivodeships. The tool used in the survey was the questionnaire „My Internet Activities” by Styśko-Kunkowska and Wąsowicz.
